The adorable dogs below are up for adoption, have been vetted, and are looking for a new family. We will miss these wonderful dogs but they deserve their own homes! Can you help?
Name: Eight
Type: Alaskan Malamute
Sex: Male
Age: 7 Months
Eight came into foster care after being abandoned by his previous owner at an apartment complex. He was only 4 months old at the time, was a bit shy and needed to gain weight. Eight is now about seven months old (as of 10/08). He gets along with other dogs, and loves to play rough and wrestle with them. This can be a bit much for smaller dogs, so his foster mother recommends that he be placed in home with dogs his size or bigger. Eight can still be a bit shy around new things and people. He would do well in a home with adults who can give him lots of positive training and TLC. His foster mother has done some clicker training with him, to which he responds very well. He knows how to sit and lie down on cue, and has not had an accident in the house in some time. However, like all puppies, he needs supervision to prevent him from finding things to chew on. Eight will probably be a smaller Malamute, maxing out around 65 – 70 lbs. He is neutered and has had all his shots. He is micro-chipped for identification. Eight is fostered in the Dallas area. If you are interested in being considered to adopt Eight, please complete an application to adopt through the TvAMAL website.
